I'm selling a Mesa Boogie Mark IV. Its a great amp, esspecially for metal. I'm selling it to purchase a Marshall JCM2000. It does need new tubes and I'm asking $1200 or best offer. Some of the biggest bands in metal use this amp, MESA BOOGIE ALSO DISCONTINUED THIS AMP, so its harder to find nowadays. Please e-mail me at justinjustice1984@gmail.com if you are interested. why in the christing fuck would you be selling a mark iv for a marshall ANYTHING? i was a day away from putting a deposit on the rackmount version and then both my head gaskets went... and the money for the amp, plus an extra $800. my life is awesome.

seriously, though... that amp generates the tone of Satan Himself.

i'd be ALL OVER THIS but well... i'm broke as a motherfucker and luckily have my quad (mark ii and mark iii preamps) to get me by.

someone best get on this before homeboy reconsiders.

Good luck selling the Mesa. I would never sell that amp for any marshall. But hey that's just me.

a few months ago they discontinued the mark iv...its got the best metal tone out there, it has a lot of different settings, getting the perfect otne is a science, but once you do, its well worth it. any takers?

don't got pics, im working on a bunch of different music projects that aren't brutal metal (sessioning for a blues band, doing an 80s metal/rock thing, etc.) I don't have a need for super brutal amp.

Mesa's are great. but, seriously, 2203/JMP Marshall is the BEST AMP with the proper pedals.....

the markIV will kill any marshall in terms of versatility.it comes down to a matter of voicing.I prefer marshall tone over mesa but the markIV is a killer head and will do much more stock than any marshall with rack/pedal add-ons
