I love the way Bud tastes. I don't drink beer to get drunk. My tolerance for alcohol and drugs is so ridiculous now that I can drink a case of beer and feel totally sober. I have to drink at least something like Cisco to get drunk.
But I'd drunk a bud just cause I'm thirsty. I love it. Its never gave me the shits either, I think that's just you. Don't fat asses get the shits all the time? I know Seth does.

And I don't really like other beers that fucking beer-snobs consider shitty beers (Miller, Michelobe, etc etc). I just love Bud. It rules. Its perfect.

I'll drink a Sam Adams but I won't go out of my way to buy their lager or ales. I never had a Harpoon I didn't like. However, the UFO Hefeweizen is a bit light for my standards, but it's great as a summer beer. The raspberry Hefeweizen is a total chick beer, but they do make a pretty good cider. Other than that, they're a quality Boston (New England) brewery. To me, Sam Adams is a cliche Red Sox fan's idea of a "good beer" when they don't want a Coors or whatever cheap beer they drink.

I like Bud cans when they are "cooler-cold" and I am outside on the ice or on the boat fishing. Other than that, I think Bud kind of sucks.

i actually like sam's winter beers better man, the harpoon winter warmer was this kinda hop and cinnamon bomb, not nearly enough malt flavor.

i can see what you mean, i know alot of "Boston Jock" types drink Sam Adams and think it's as good as beer gets.
but in my personal opinion, Sam and Harpoon both have some amazing beers, and some just ok beers....and of course they both have the girly ones (for sam it's the "Cherry Wheat" ugh)

either way, Sam and Harpoon are what i drink when i don't have any homebrew available, and i'm too broke to buy a good belgian ale, or russian imperial stout

eh, they all taste the same to me, but then again, my taste buds have been spoiled by the likes of St. Bernardus, Avery, Dogfishead, Unibroue etc.

I'm not saying Natty Ice is the nectar of the gods like Budweiser is, but its not THAT fucking bad. Its totally drinkable.
But like I said above, I dont even bother with beer anymore. For another $1.50 I can get a fifth of Cisco. Two of those and suddenly, going on a coke binge becomes a great goddamn idea.
