I have played hundreds of bar/21+ shows, and I have played just as much if not more all ages shows. There is a certain energy and a certain vibe that comes from the youngsters that I absolutely love. Majority of them are there for the love of the music, not because it is their local watering hole week after week. So here it is....
I appreciate you Mr. sit at home spin kicking your room apart all week so you can come out and "destroy" kids at the show. I appreciate all your burger flipping and mommy and daddy mooching efforts to buy all the latest and greatest scenester merch. I appreciate your mediocre scenester girlfriends that listened to Nelly Furtado 3 years ago which are just dying to let the kid with the coolest spin kicks get their hello kitty panties wet. I will always love the fact your pants are tighter than your girlfriend. I appreciate how hard some of you work at getting enough scene points to rule your local VFW. I appreciate how you learned all the lyrics to every band on the show and how you probably know news about the band before most of the members.
Regardless of the comedy sho known as your teenage years, you guys kick ass and usually make shows a fun place. You get my vote... and a few of my spare scene points!
