I've been rocking Gorguts all day today. From WISDOM TO HAATE!

I remember really liking the first song off of that cd, but for some reason didnt care for the rest of the album after that. Hopefully i can dig it up and give it another listen.

For me, Obscura >= From Wisdom To Hate > The Erosion of Sanity > Considered Dead.

All good, though.

FWTH is the best of second wave Gorguts. The Erosion of Sanity is best overall.

Obscura is a fucking incredible album. Erosion is definately my favorite though. Considered Dead is 2nd. From Wisdom To Hate is definate masterpiece as well.

Obscura is art. It set a standard that has yet to be matched in death metal.

Obscura is a work of art with "metal" as the medium. Distorted guitars are my favorite paintbrush.

now black metal, thats a genre that hold heaps of originality and a willingness to progress way beyond the basement.
