I have waited almost 7 years to get tattoos (I'll finally start on my 25th birthday in June) for the sole reason that I feared getting tattoos I would regret. If you're going to get a band tattoo, Ken is on the money with the Motorhead logo. The only other bands acceptable to get tattoos from are Iron Maiden, Slayer, Black Sabbath and Broken Hope.

Oh, Ace of Base, Wilson Philips, WHAM! and ABBA are also acceptable.

i'm the same way except i wasn't worried of regretting the tattoos. i was worried about getting bored with them. i think with you and me being visual artists, we'd probably want to change the tattoos eventually. i was worried i'd get sick of looking at the tattoo and want it gone or changed. i always wanted one on my back, because that's a place you don't see on yourself very much, so i might not get tired of it. i'm probably going ot get a tattoo sometime in the next year or so.
