Word up. Most people are responsible for way more harm to animals than one dog dragged from a car(that lived) every year.
HOWEVER, while I definitely find it hypocritical for people who buy animal products at supermarkets and stuff to say they don't support animal abuse/torture/cruelty, there is a big difference between being ignorant or apathetic and being directly violent in a personal way. Watching a bunch of kids get beat down probably makes you a piece of shit, but beating down a bunch of kids probably makes you evil.

I 100% agree with you... he should be dragged untill he is also missing huge chunks of skin and flesh... and untill his feet and hands are worn down to bone... fucking sickening... i dont understand how a person could do this... for some reason it's more sickening to me than humans doing fucked up shit to other humans... b/c well.. i'm sure some ppl just plain fucking deserve it... but animals... what could they possibly do to deserve that?

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Mar 1,2007 10:51am
someone should drag that shithead from the back of a truck.

toggletoggle post by titfrost at Mar 1,2007 11:30am

Thanks for the rant, dude. I'll keep that in mind while MY dogs are enjoying themselves on Saturday retrieving farm-raised pheasants that are shot for sport on a private shooting preserve. I know you animal rights folks ESPECIALLY hate that shit.

I didn't make a funny. That is what I'm really doing on Saturday.

And if you enjoy beating dogs, you are a closet faggot.

you know what, I'm a vegetarian and am interested in animal rights but I have no problem with that at all. i don't think there's anything wrong with an animal (a human) eating another animal, but when animals have to basically live in hell their entire lives to maximize the profits of a meat conglomerate that upsets me. if you have the balls to kill your own birds and they led decent lives before you killed them, then more power to you.

there's also a BIG difference between using animals for a purpose.. like food as it is an important factor in the food chain .and killing/ torturing them for pleasure

I don't especially hate that, If anything I especially hate people buying a bucket of KFC chicken, that's the worst in my opinion. People who hunt their food aren't making anyone's life suck, they're just ending it, which is perfectly natural. I do, however, think those hunting places where they basically let a bunch of whatever you want to kill out of a cage into the "wild" so you can "hunt" it are fucking lame. I don't know what private shooting preserve means, but if it's one of those places then yes, that's pretty weak. Hunting for sport in general is pretty weak.

There is probably a big difference in the type of people reponsible for each, but there is no difference to the animal subjected to it. If you lived on a factory farm, you probably wouldn't feel better knowing you'll be eaten after you die, and the dog dragged behind that car is way luckier than the average farm chicken. I don't think eating animals in inherently wrong, but there's no instance of factory farming that I think is okay.

i have worked on a farm for a good portion of my life.. working with horses and other animals.. i have seen how they are treated.. and i can promise you.. they are killed quickly... they are not dragged behind trucks!

The kind of farm you worked on doesn't account for 90% of the meat produced in America.
