thanks to everyone who came out last night. thanks to BoE, HCN, Dissector, and fellow bandmates and most of all thanks to all the Shroud of Bereavement fans who came out. We didn't realize there were so many of you out there.

Details? I worked until 9ish, so I went to Providence instead.

it was a decent show the regulares at the club were fags and by the end of our set we pretty much drove em out of the club

dissector were great as usual but i think they sounded a lot better when i saw em las ttime at the c-block

HCN omfg these guys are awsome very cool shit great guitar playing i dug it a lot

SOB another sick ass band dan was a tad bit drunk so he told us and that he was a little off but in my opinion they sounded great

attendence was EH but that was to be expected cause it was a monday in the middle of no where massachusetts

my first time seeing all these bands....
subjugate pretty much summed it up, except boe was absolutley sick.
They have a constant, relentless metal attack, that reminds me that some real metal bands still exist. I loved it.
guitars werent loud enogh for any bands, but that was the sound guy being a sissy.
dissector was real cool, I like the 2 vox and zombie references. sounded tight as hell.
Shroud....EPIC, BIG, gorgeous, EVIL....these guys play what i hear in my head when im feeling suicidal! I dont care what u say dan, you werent 'that' off, and if you were, we sure didnt hear it.

you brought me back to some old skool my dying bride, disembowlment.

we got pulled over on the way home, but luckily we had a sober driver, and hoser is a veteran, and so was the cop, so he checked reg, said 'semper fi' and left.

I gotta say this was a great show. I got a chance to see some bands that I have never seen until now.

My review:

Dissector: These guys played a great set, some ultra old school riffs for such young guys, and they pulled it off incredibly. The song that they played that they dedicated to the drunk pool regulars who were asking them to play Guns and Roses songs was my favorite song. I think that it's called "Ref" or something.

Bane of Existance: Absolutely disgusting. These guys play some NASTY riffs, and I gotta tell ya....one of the best drummers outside of Nick from Life at Zero that I have ever seen around New England. That dude was fucking DEAD accurate and the rim shots made my ears pop.

Hand Choke Neck: I guess that minus a bass player we sounded ok.

Shroud of Bereavement: Amazing. I was never a huge, huge doom fan until a few years ago and I gotta say, it sounded like a fucking orchestra. The sound is as full and emotional as any could be. The girls singing were great and as always, Dan (Dyingmuse) is one of the greatest guys in the NE Metal scene, this dude is pure metal.

HOWEVER...THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT WAS THE DUMB DRUNK BITCH THAT SLAMMED HER SATURN INTO THE RETAINING WALL OUTSIDE OF THE CLUB WHILE WE WERE ALL SMOKING BUTTS OUT THERE. WE ALL CLAPPED AND CHEERED AND GOT YELLED AT BY ANOTHER REDNECK MASSHOLE DRUNK BITCH WHO WAS SITTING IN HER SHITBOMB OF A CAR, DRUNK AS HELL AND GIVING A HANDJOB TO SOME OTHER DRUNK LOCAL YOKEL.

It was pretty good. I couldnt hear shit coming out of the monitor besides vocals. So any parts that didn't have singing might have been a little off. I personally like the little bars like the block and obriens better, I think we sound better there.

Hoser, songs called Wrath. Thanks a lot for digging us. Sorry I coudlnt stay for the rest of the bands, I had work at 6 this morning. I don't know how long my bandmates stayed though.

Oh and we really didn't break up and that wasn't our last show.

man thanxs for all the compliments, i still think i was a bit drunk to be up there but fuck it. we will be better on the other 40 shows we have this week.

as for all the bands and let me say the sound guy kinda fagged us all out in the mix

dissector, i didnt really get to see their whole set because we were all loading in and saying hellos. i waish i didnt get lost..lol

us, well we need that 2nd guitarist. and i did have a bit too much to drink. man that drive home sucked. and it sucked more today with a full on hangover being dehidrated in the hot as fuck sun for 9 hours sucks!!!

thanks to everyone that made it out last night and thanks to the bands for sticking around for our set. that is how the scene stays alive. everyone supporting each other. and im there!!!!!

that chick in the saturn was a funny but that loud angry lady made my night. Everyone clapped for the girl who scraped the sideof car on the wall which set off the other lady. too funny.

I thought it was a great line up.

Everyone who used Monday night as an excuse not to come out missed some good sets last night.

The club seemed on top of it, clean, a lot of room inside, large bar, but the sound sucked.

despite the shitty sound, you guys all kicked it in the ass.
