So we all get it Black Pyramid is the biggest thing to come out W Mass and all the d-bags inbreeding in the hills out there are all a buzz with anticipation for the next album there gonna fart out of their collective touch holes. Okay not really a big deal if you aren't some myopic backwoods rube who masturbates to The Sword records. But they made a dent in there hay day.
The bottom line is that yay great Andy is playing music again. But we all do know that he's crazier than Wily and that they've been working on this record forever now. He's burned too many bridges and has already gone through a slew of new members so why any label is taking this big a risk on him is beyond me and anyone's guess. Supposedly these songs were all written before he left the band but color me sceptical. I'll buy into the hype when they actually put out a record. Or manage to even play one show.

He's certifiable. His weird obsession that is revolving around keeping everything about the band private and top secret is beyond weird and obsessive. He's accused friends of mine who shared a practice space with Black Pyramid in Easthampton or practived next to him of leaking information and having big mouths. By being so fucking batshit crazy he's only drawing more attention to himself and everyone in Wmass talks about him and his dysfunctional band. Like everyone knows that he's now practicing with Black Pyramid in a barn on some farm in the boonies but his weird secretive behavior means that everyone gossips and spreads rumors. It's unfair he's getting this second chance with a huge label when so many other bands are more worthy and part of the scene. He's checked out of the scene and it's so clear he doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself.

Black Pyramid are right now writing and recording a new album. I live next to the bassist in NoHo and the main guy lives right down the street. I hang out with them both at least once per week.

People here got this wrong. The band sucks ass and thats a given. Western Mass doesn't like them so does nobody else but lets look at the full equation. You have an instable band leader playing with the bassist they kicked out and a girl who played with pop bands before. She is the fourth drummer since reforming. There is this new album after somehow inking a deal with some sketch sub division of Universal and who must be idiots. They have some old hag has been metalhead managing the whole affair. One guy is hiding from the world and obsessed with secrecy while the other has the biggest mouth on earth and brags epicly to everyone at every bar and show. For all accounts given they have not recorded a single note in almost a year of working on a new album and have not played any shows either. They cannot stay even in the same practice space for more than a month without pissing everyone off.
People is Western MA still talking about this not because its a good band but because its like watching an abortion happen in band form. Its the biggest joke around and all your just jealous that Worcester and Boston don't have bands capable of this level of retarded faggotry.
