He has been hurting since Lina Romay died a year or two back, and he was a chain-smoking 83 year old, so it's been coming for awhile now. Still sad to see another legend of the cinema pass from this earth.
This is my favorite film of his, along with the totally jarring Lorna the Exorcist (1974). Legit masterpiece, plus it has Christopher Lee as a de Sade quoting leader of a gang of sadists. Amazing soundtrack to boot.

Will, I read your blog post, and I have some helpful tips for you:
A common error is to write it's for its, or vice versa. The first is a contraction, meaning "it is." The second is a possessive.
Effect. As a noun, means "result"; as a verb, means "to bring about," "to accomplish" (not to be confused with affect, which means "to influence").
The pronominal possessives hers, its, theirs, yours, and ours have no apostrophe. Indefinite pronouns, however, use the apostrophe to show possession.
-All quoted from Strunk and White's "The Elements of Style." The authors don't seem to include to/too/two misuse, but please look into that as well.

Holy shit I just noticed Lorna The Exorcist is up in full on YouTube. Check it out while it lasts. One of Franco's most out there.

Just noticed that Lorna YouTube video is all in French so if you don't speak French you're fucked in terms of understanding anything. That is unless you only care about lingering vagina shots.
