After a long five year slumber, the four Sleepers have awakened to once again witness the witnessing of the witnessor. Palace In Thunderland is a both a state of mind and a brotherhood; a meditation on the freedoms of individuality and a declaration of unity; a paradoxical entity dedicated to exploring the sonic revelations that erupt spontaneously from the true realms of silence within both the infinite spaces of the universe and the deep recesses of the human spirit. Palace In Thunderland channels these raw, primal emanations into cosmic hymns posing the most abstract questions and drawing the most fantastic conclusions about existence and reality. The eccentric fuzz-driven four piece is putting the final touches on their latest offering of melodic riffs and energized hooks, a demo EP called Stars, Dreams, Seas. The EP consists of three new tracks of the band's most immediate, eclectic, and energized material to date. The track listing includes "Beyond The Stars, "Awakened Dream", and "The Distant Shore." The release will be made available digitally on December 22nd, with limited CD hardcopies, and of course the possibility of other formats at some future date.

The veritable supergroup features Andy Beresky, the visionary songwriting, entheogenic guitar licks, and otherworldly vocals formed the basis for Black Pyramid, and Monte Newman, whose searing lead guitar work, muscular riffs, and melodic vocals laid the groundwork for space riffers HydroElectric. The rhythm section of Adam Abrams on bass/keyboards, and Matt Netto on drums/vocals, both from the progressive doom act Blue Aside, provides the shifting structures and dynamic backdrops for the impressive diversity of styles displayed over the course of only three songs.

"The new stuff is a more mature version of what we wish we could have accomplished in the past," commented guitarist/vocalist Monte Newman when asked about the material from the EP.

"It travels, we cover a lot of ground in three songs. I feel we have gone back to our roots, fully developed what was down there buried, and now the bounty of our labors is something different and more exciting than anything we've ever been. We're utilizing various forms of our past incarnations to forge an identity in the future. Will this make any sense? Probably not, but listening to it all might. " Andy Beresky cryptically stated when asked to discuss his thoughts and feelings on the recording.
