After releasing his concept solo album, Lost In The New Real, earlier this year, multi-instrumentalist ARJEN LUCASSEN has now begun writing songs for his next project: AYREON's 8th studio album! While no release date is set yet, this currently untitled album is tentatively due out in 2013.

01011001 and The Human Equation, yes I agree with you, but older Ayreon is fucking incredible.

Actual Fantasy and Into The Electric Castle will always be two of the greatest albums ever.

Agree with bsv. New ayreon = why? I checked em out when electric castle came out and was bored into a coma. My family had to blast thin lizzy and iron maiden into my headphones for did weeks before I woke up. Worst trip evar.
