New site? Maybe some day.

Jesus Christ, how many shows can Skeletonwitch and Havok possibly be playing? I swear, I got invites to two MA dates, two NH dates, a RI date and a CT date. What is this. |
|
Skeletonwitch / Havok - playing fifteen shows in California on this tour, for sure. |
|
Skeletonwitch really sucks. Mutilation Rites is the only good thing about that tour. |
|
I enjoy what Havok i've heard, but haven't listened to them extensively or seen them live.
I saw Skeletonwitch at NEMAHF 2010 and thought they were horribly boring, and their music about as cookiecutter as it gets. But i'm still confused as to why they're playing so many New England shows. |
|
I saw Skeletonwitch at the Living Room back in 2007. They said it was their first time ever in Rhode Island. Couldn't have put on a more boring set. I honestly think looking back that I thought I didn't like metal for a while because bands like that were some of my earliest exposure to it as a punk kid and the punks often have really terrible taste in metal. |

sucks mutilation rites isn't on the NE dates....sucks even more that Bog agreed to open the RI show, and I will be missing the good show at AS220 the same night....sucks that no one is going to go because shitty show for $14 or awesome show for $6.... |
|
They are playing at Great Scott the same night that we play with Infernal Stronghold at WWTA.
I am quite pleased that the falses won't be attending WWTA that night. |
|
I like skeleton witch and I think their sets are pretty good. The great Scott show will be the best of all the venues for them I am sure. But that is an amazing amount of shows. They touring with inquisition?
Thursday, I will be at wwta |

i am saddenedto find myself on the other side of the spectrum due to the fact that my bandmates are fags |

I just don't really understand WHY they're doing a tour like this.
I mean, they could play a single all ages show at either Upstairs Palladium or Downstairs Middle East and have that be it for New England shows - all their New England fans would flock to that show, as well as RTTP-dubbed "palladium kids" and their would probably be a good 400 or 500 people.
By playing six or whatever shows in New England, all 18 or 21+ to boot, they'll have... what? 30 people a night?
They could just prefer smaller crowds, but if that was the case, I doubt Skeletonwitch would've wanted to tour with bands like Cannibal Corpse and The Black Dahlia Murder to begin with.
Oh well, i'm giving this way too much thought. |
