If you're anything like me you like to scout for potential post-apocalyptic (zombie or otherwise) hideouts all the time. Plenty of you are New Hampshire natives and probably very comfortable holding up in your respective log cabins. Everyone else who lives in actual civilization please feel free to share your ideas.

some of mine:
- the silver line bus depot on South Hampton St in southie. concrete structure surrounded by a retractable barbed wire fence. The entrances to the garage are also equipped with retractable cages to keep out buttheads. It's also right near the highway on/off ramp and adjacent to south bay center for looting and scavenging purposes.

- the apartment buildings by McGrath Hwy as you pull into Somerville. They don't offer much for security, but if you had a rifle you're in a prime spot to pick off helpless people who foolishly cross the Mcgrath Hwy bridge which my girlfriend and I have dubbed The Death Bridge since all arguments and disputes will be settled there.

Dunno about that last one since cat piss is pretty warm. I would hole up in my practice space in Everett. Concrete and steel structure, musical instruments and booze to pass the time, and I'm already used to dealing with human zombies there as a regular occurrence.

goto national guard armory, steal a vehicle (either a deuce and a half or APC) drive upto my land in new hampshire, which has potable water, build ewok village in trees, pull ladders up behind us.....INVINCEABLE!

my friends and i always had this idea about the BJ's/Home Depot complex in Auburn. it's surrounded on 2 sides by woods with little to no inhabitants, and a 3rd side is a 75 foot drop down. it is within 1/2 mile of 290, 395, 12, 20, and within 5 miles of 90 and 9. however it is far from secured, it is close to civilization, and easily accessible. it's more for a long-term stay considering the available provisions, it would just be one hell of a task to conquer and secure it.
