The plan I'm devising right now is to hope I play my set early enough in Boston that I can immediately run back down to Rhode Island and catch this show.

Hai guys, you know what to do if anyone drops off this show.
"will come out to this show even though it will be full of misogynist metal nerds with the hots for fetishizing mutated corpses of women and sexual "hunter" imagery. damn i thought that shit was tired a long time ago...anyways, see you there in my lipstick and mini skirt."

For the love of motherfuck, please tell me that's not real. If that's real, tell me who wrote it so I can write it in my fist's date book.
Wicked mad, bro. But honestly, since I got the joke, I thought it was pretty funny.

I suck at reading.
I did see the flyer rendition (it was hilarious) but not that post. Also, I figured a guy wrote that for some reason. Probably because I missed the "lipstick and mini skirt" part, haha.

I totally fell asleep but got here before Ilsa. I wanted to see rampant decay . I'll just call it a Disco Nap.

That was good, but a retardedly short set by Speedwolf. I bought a round and brought it on stage, you'd think they'd play ' out on bail' for us.

though im obviously not at this show right now i will be seeing this in the windy city! good luck to the boys of RD and HD tonight and rip one for me for speed wolf. the more i listen to the them i like them i gotta admit.

I was disappointed at how short the Speedwolf set was but the songs they did play ruled hard. Rampant Decay had some technical problems at first but seriously killed it. Definitely a band I make sure to never miss when they play in town.
yeah I thought Speedwolf were great but it was weird that they bailed with 10 minutes left on the clock. I'm used to bands asking for more time, not jumping off stage with time to spare. still, they shredded.
Magic Circle dropping off was a bummer.
Ilsa was also pretty bummer. I have the LP and like it, had high hopes but man they were a sloppy fucking mess.

They sounded like mud. The lead singer had no presence, and two of the guys just turned their backs to face their amps, so you couldn't see what they were doing. The guitarist on the right in the yellow shirt was facing forward, and I could tell what he was up to -- and I suspected that they could be a decent band -- so on an impulse I bought their LP. It is good. Too bad they didn't pull that off live.
