Being elite within the scene defeats the purpose because it kills the scene. So then the scene dies and the elitist then sits around and pouts "why arn't they're any good bands comming around here". If anything the elitist should display more insurrection towards metalcore, hardcore, and rapcore. Hating every band within your favorite genre is stupid. The last show I organized I had a ton of confirm only to cancel a week or two later (cough RK cough PL) but you were only the last ones to do it, and since you're nice I won't hold it against you all. There were literally 5 others that did that to me on the same show. So we had three bands and it was cool anyway. But, thanks for holding this one together Terrence, I really hope Porphyria can play. |
