I just got the wireless USB thing.

I hooked it up, i picked my network and type in the correct password and its 'connected' but then i go to "Test Xbox LIVE Connection" and it fails...

I've tried all the things its suggests to no avail.

I had that issue for 5 years. No matter what I did it wouldn't connect so I said fuck it, hacked it to download and play burned games. I put in the first game and it said would you like to update, I said sure and from that moment on xbox live has magically worked.
