A friend of mine is a ridiculously good artist and just started doing tattoos not too long ago. He did a sick zombie face on my leg the week before Christmas.

I doubt you'd go to Chicago to get a tattoo done, but ya never know.

I can hook you up with my vocalist Steve, the guy is doing tattoos outta his basement but god damn is he awesome at it. Some of the best artwork I've ever seen.

As for someone in a shop, I'd highly recommend Dave Husslebee at Bona Fide Tattoo in Concord, NH. He's doing my sleeve, and he actually did one of the guys from Revocation's backpiece (not sure which guy).

These are the two artists I would recommend the most, and both price very fairly.

Hector Cedillo at Unholy Grail. Cambridge St in Worcester. Ridiculous portrait work. If you want anything with good coloring and shading he's the guy you want.

Seconded. Hector has some amazingly detailed portraits. Angel at the same shop is also very good with the coloring and shading, just different style.
