NEWS
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
CATTLE DECAPITATION from Travis:
The New England Metal And Hardcore fest was insane. We didn't expect such a great response! It feels great to come up and destroy people of all preferences be it hardcore, metal core or our beloved death metal fans. We've had a tremendous response so far on the Vital Remains tour and we've made some great friends with the dudes in Soilent Green and BDM. This is our most fun tour so far and there's an overwhelming feeling of accomplishment and that we're actually doing something here... See you at the shows!!!

THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER update from the road:
The New England Metal & Hardcore fest was amazing! It was probably one of the largest crowds we have played in front of and it was great to see so many familiar faces. We also met a bunch of new fans and it is always great to hear we are turning new fans onto our music. Right now we are out with Vital Remains and Cattle Decapitation and the shows have been doing really well. All the bands are great to hang out with. We have been out for a while now so we are really looking forward to going back home for a bit. - John

AS I LAY DYING Update from the road:
"The New England Metal Fest was awesome. There was a great turn out. We were one of the headlining acts on the first day and we had a great time. The Killswitch Engage tour is doing well. The crowds are awesome, and the bands are great." - Clint

*Don't forget to catch As I Lay Dying out on the road with Killswitch Engage and In Flames! Check tour update section for dates.

BEYOND THE EMBRACE Update from the road:
"The tour's been going well, and the crowd has been pretty responsive. All of the band's are cool. Tommy Victor and all the guys from Prong are awesome. Chris is fitting in nicely. We are glad to find another idiot like us. A lot of the shows on the first tour were sold out so we are hoping the second set of dates will be just as big." - Oscar

The band has also been added on to two weeks of Iced Earth dates so they will have to leave the Prong tour early. For the most up to date shows check out the tour section.

Beyond the Embrace recently launched their new website. Check out mp3s from the new album, new and lots more.

THE RED CHORD Update from Guy:
" The New England Metal Fest was a gay ole time. We haven't seen shit kick like that since '89. The kids were crowd surfing, we felt like Blink-182. It was the first time we played in Mass since August of last year, and it was great to be back. We look forward to touring and hitting the road again. We started jamming with, drummer, Jonathon Longstreth."

"It was fun to start jamming with The Red Chord. It's the most fun I've had playing metal so far. This time I might not quit." - Jon

And it's FREE!!! Dates will be posted under the tour section. Remember the disc is out on May 18, 2004! Get out to any music store and pick it up. Jack Owen leaves Cannibal Corpse
Statement from Alex Webster:
Hey everybody, Alex from Cannibal here. I just wanted to update everyone on how we've been doing since Jack quit the band last week. We are currently teaching another guitarist our set list for the "Wretched Spawn" tour, in preparation for our shows in Mexico later this month. Jack will be missed, and we wish him well, but we're not going to let his departure slow us down. Thanks to all of our fans for the great support, we'll see you on tour! - Alex Webster

Statement Jack Owen:
"After 15 years with Cannibal Corpse, I've decided to leave the group. My heart just wasn't in it anymore, and it was reflected in my appearance on stage. Times change, and I just don't enjoy the music as much as I used to, and the only thing keeping me in the band was steady work, and the pay. These things make it unfair to myself, my band members, and especially the fans. I'd like to thank all the members of Cannibal Corpse, past and present, for sharing in the conquest of an entire genre of music. I wish the band continued success..."
