I thought it was fairly nuts even in North Carolina compared to here, basically every manual labor company and fast food places were chock full of Mexican immigrants down in Raleigh. I worked with a guy who was from Dallas who told me that the situation there was tame compared to Texas, I remember him telling me something to the effect of "You could be sitting at a red light and look over to both sides of you and behind you and you'd be the only white guy in a sea of Mexicans" or something. |
