I will be placing a monthly ad in the Noise, part of which will list all shows for about 2 months I have coming up.
To help cover the expense of this ad I will now be taken some of the money from shows (I use to not take anything).

I don't expect this to increase show attendance right away, probably more after two to three months, but is a good investement I think.

This means you the bands may not get as much money from the shows, for the time being. But if the shows keep going as they have (at the Block especially) I will be able to pay the bands decent and still take my cut to help cover the ad.

If this is a problem for your band, let me know ASAP so I can get a replacement for you.

I agree, I had talked to several bands about the idea, because I want to be as fair as I can. I think this is the best course of action to take, especially considering most these clubs do not advertise at all, so alot of people have no idea what is happening at O'Brien's, The Block, or All Asia, or even that these clubs exist.
