Usual problem. Broke, but we need a logo. I was thinking something in a font similar to all the old HxC bands from the early 80's, but meets a death metal time font. Nothing black metal.

We can't pay for it, or if we can we can't pay much, but we'll always give credit and recommendations. Plus free copies of our records for life.

I'll see if I can trick someone into it. I've got zero skills with that sort of thing though.

After about 4 hours of intense labor I came up with this.

Thoughtful, but not quite what we were looking for.

The smiley face in the "a" is a nice tough, however.

there's a free font called "brutal tooth" probably what you're lookin for.

That's an awesome suggestion, and I am definitely going to get that for flyers, but I don't like Fonts for logos.

I do a decent amount of logo stuff for design work and I can't deal with distress on logos that repeats every E or I or what have you.

Yeah I know what you're sayin, helps as a starting point though.

Yes'sir. Scanned in, printed out and played with more, re-scanned, cleaned up with a Wacom, vectorized and just cleaned up the vector image.
