Neither are leather, it's just the picture. The couch was some kind of fuzzy crap, that's my mom's house. Pants were probably my faux leather ones I lived in because I had no taste.

I still have the fucking tuner I got along with that bass and a practice amp (all used from some dude in my high school). Beat to fuck but it still mostly works (one of these days I'll solder the input right and reconnect the power input).
I'll tell you what about that bass, though - it was a Korean P-bass copy (pre-Squire, here - I think it's a "Typhoon" or some shit), but a) it actually had a tone to it, and b) although I had the action set decently low once I learned how to do that, it had a huge fucking scale, and a wide-ass neck. Learning to play on that thing payed off huge once I got a real bass. |
