ok so ive been real lazy about advertising for this, but basically i have done so much work on my friends/bandmates gear at this point i figure why not make some bucks off it.
First off I am by NO MEANS an expert luthier/electrician. I'm just a mechanically inclined individual who knows a little more than the average player about building/customizing/repairing shit. I'm not gonna do a full resto on your 59 Les Paul, but if you have; an old workhorse guitar that could use a little freshening up, a total POS that you would like to get in working order for short change, or even a pile of parts and loose ends that you'd like to make into some sort of frankenstein project, im your man. I can also usually diagnose and repair basic shit on amps, like loose jacks/pots etc. but my expertise is a bit more limited in that sphere.
If ya'll want testimonials, ask Andrew, Bobby, Jay, Ross, or anyone else whos had me work on their shit.

my POS crate combo amp needs a new input jack so i can sell it for a decent price. can you do that kinda stuff?

I can take a look at it, where are you located?
sometimes the input jacks on those cheapo amps are wired right to the circuit board which makes replacing them prohibitively difficult/expensive
plus if the circuit board is cracked, your screwed.
however, on the bright side, sometimes it just needs to be re-soldered

P.S. I am located in lexington/allston

i live in worcester but i'm usually in the Allston area twice a week for practice or shows. and ya i think the input jack is wired right to the board.

I may need work on something in my rack, not sure what though. I gotta go through everything in my effects loop to see what's causing the problem. I'll be in touch when I find out.
