New site? Maybe some day.

Hi folks,
this is your good friend Tito Francona. When I'm not at the game I'm enjoying a nice cup of Bigelow Green Tea.
Other than that, the playoffs for the Sox start tonight.
Angels vs. Sox
I say we'll take them in 4, Dice-K being the winner of the final game of the series.
Chances are we'll also face the Yankees for the first ALCS series since 2004. They'll be seeking revenge.
Wish us luck and say a big great thanks to the folks at Bigelow Green Tea.

haha arent we like 11-1 against LA in the post season? |
I can't remember caring less for a Red Sox playoff run in my life....I don't know what it is, but I'm not excited for this like at all |
def more excited about celtics/bruins seasons |
Tito, start Oil Can Boyd. He's due. |

i've felt this way about the entire season |
I'm excited for celts/bruins too.
but if the sox and yankees face off again, ITS GOING TO BE EPIC
Don't forget the words of a wiseman (dane cook) last year. THIS IS OCTOBER.
ya know what though? it seems like the Yankees and Sox play every week (which is obv not true, just kinda seems that way) because they play 19 games during the season....I'm kinda over Yankees and Sox |
I know what yer saying..
but I've always seperated playoff baseball(any sport for that matter) from the regular season. completely different feel. the intensity of the crowd also enhances the game. if it comes down to a game 6 or 7 again in yankees vs. sox it's going to be pretty fucking intense. there are a lot of things that have to be proven in the playoffs. for instance, is clay bucholz going to flop because of his lack of confidence? I think so |
you are right that the playoffs in any sport are way different than the regular season....and I'll prob be right there with ya flipping out about Yanks/Sox ALCS...but right now, I just can't bring myself to give a shit |
Sox vs Angels
Sox in 4
Yankees vs Twins
Yankees in 3
Yankees vs Sox
Sox in 7
Sox vs Dodgers WS, Manny gets booed to no end at Fenway |
The Angels curse will be broken this year. The Angels will beat the Sox this year. you can hold me to it as I know I am right about this. LOL Vaginars!! |
Yea okay. This ain't no NFL guessing game. This is MLB. Red Sox have better pitching.
the only possible way the angels have a chance is if they take advantage of victor martinez's or tek's weak arm. they're going to steal bases like crazy on the sox. |
i read this as LOL Vinegars! |
It's the troff! Angels in 27 |
i thinkt he big question is if tek will start as catcher when beckett is pitching.
beckett already stated last month he prefers tek because he "calls the best game."
I dont think tito will take a bat ouf of the lineup. interesting to see what Tito chooses on friday night. |
i think the sox will have a pretty easy time against LA as usual, but the yanks offense is just too strong for sox pitching this year. that series will go 7 games though, thats just the way things are. phils over yanks in the world series |
No way are the phillies going to repeat. |
Sad to say I dont think there is anyone who can beat the Yankees this year. $$$ = world series wins. |
I don't know, I think the Yankees' pitching after CC is shotty, and their bullpen sucks...the playoffs are all about pitching |
Fenway will rattle the fuck out of the yanks younger pitchers |
Yankees' playoff rotation:
Sabathia (I still don't have confidence in his playoff mindset)
Pettitte (OLD OLD OLD)
Burnett (inconsistent)
Joba (I'm assuming, he ended the year with a vicious slump)
bullpen:
Rivera (gotta give credit where credit is dude, dude's still the man)
Hughes (took a major step forward this year, but we'll see how he handles the playoffs)
Marte (inconsistent)
Coke (inconsistent)
Aceveda (inconsistent)
Gaudin (don't know him too well)
Red Sox' rotation:
Beckett (if he's healthy, which granted, is a big if right now, he's an absolute playoff monster)
Lester (solid as a rock)
Dice-K (has had some success in the playoffs, and if he keeps on pitching like he has since he came back, I think he will do great)
Buchholz (questions about his mental state, but has been pitching pretty great over the past few months)
bullpen:
Pap (nuff said)
Okajima (has done well in the playoffs since he's been here)
Wagner (great midseason pickup, and has tons of playoff experience)
Byrd (only for cleanup time, hopefully)
Bard (too young to tell what his mental makeup is yet, but his stuff is sick)
Ramirez and Saito could go either way |
Sox pitching is better but yanks hitting is ridiculous |
good pitching always beats good hitting in the playoffs |
look there are a lot of if's with the Sox, but I think the Yankees have some of their own, so it's not as automatic as some might think |
hahaha look at me, I feel like I don't care, yet I just took time to breakdown the Sox and Yankees pitching staffs....that's what taking Environmental Issues with a fossil for a teacher will do |
are you fuckiung kidding me. joe west is the umpire?? he hates the red sox. what the fuck is that? |
I dont even know if they can beat the Angels at this point. |
5 to goose egg last night, LOL. |
i read this as LOL Vinegars! |

well that was a crock of shit. bard through some fucking heat though.
GO CELTBRUITRIOTS! |
Ha, i knew the Sox would lose to the Angels. I said in 4, so i was close. but it was more humiliating to get swept. |
