I have to say, I was surprised to learn that it was Longstreth playing with them, when I heard it through the door of the practice space.
Never been a fan of his style, but it sounded really fucking good. Slow, and sludgy, dissonant shit. I imagine he's a little out of his comfort zone on this, which is always a good thing, IMO.

nobody will talk shit about johns drumming when they hear it. it sounds like gorguts should sound and john does it very well.
