Unfurling A Darkened Gospel is the roll out track from JFAC's celebrated sophomore album, Ruination, which is available everywhere now. The video was shot on location in downtown Philadelphia, PA and at the city's distinguished music venue, The First Unitarian Church. The clip was shot by Doug Spangenberg for Space Monkey Studios (Lamb Of God, Maroon 5) and features Job For A Cowboy doing what the band does best; bringing its electrifying live show directly to a crowd of rabid fans. Beginning July 10 at 9:00 PM PST, the video will also be available on the main page of Yahoo! Music.

Job For A Cowboy will launch the 2009 “ROCKSTAR Energy Mayhem Festival” on July 10 at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Sacramento, CA. JFAC will appear as one of the tour's featured acts alongside Slayer and Marilyn Manson. The 27-date North American march is slated to run through August 15 in Dallas, TX.

this video needs to be 90% glassmen, 7% people in line, and 2.5% the other members.

That was a pretty incredidible song and video. Never thought that I'd like these guys, but my respect is beginning to grow.

Great musicians, nice lead as well.

Is there any original members aside from the bass player?

The solo sucked, some dudes should never solo if they can't pull it off.

They're obviously riding the "tech-death" trend in current rotation but at least this doesn't suck. Maybe if they hadn't of released that pig-squealed laden, sloppy drummed EP they wouldn't be as hated on.

p.s. def needs more Glassman and more BREEEE ;)

I don't understand why everyone talks so much shit about these guys (obviously not so much in this thread, but I see it everywhere). Sure, it's nothing ground breaking, but they do what they do very well, and they are pretty goddamn heavy.

Honestly, one of the few newer DM bands that I've gotten into recently.

Liked this song as well, but the video had some piss poor editing going on, IMO.
