that is what ALWAYS happenes. in the accident that killed my cousin, uncle (not father and son, but same side of the family), and my cousin's bff, the driver was ejected and his foot was cut off by he gas pedal. my uncle died immediately of massive head trauma and either my cousin or his friend died of impalement.
the driver tried to claim that someone else was driving, but there was a whole wer was thrown out and his foot was cut off by the gas pedal.
