Has anyone done that drug salvia? I just did it this weekend and it was fucking wierd. I wanna hear if anybody else felt like they got rolled up in a rug made out of couch cushions and reality and then regressed into some inanimate form of life.

Salvia is pound for pound one of the most intense and bizzare drugs you can ever do.

They make extracts of JUST salvinorum a. Like Pure Salvia srystals. That would be some scary shit.

It's a plant. It's legal in most states and you can get concentrated extracts from most headshops. You take a rip or two and you trip harder than drunk slut for a few minutes.

shit sucks. it just makes me laugh for like 10 minutes straight then I snap out of it and have to change my shirt cuz it makes me sweat like a maniac.

ive never done the extract before. i bought an ounce of salvia leaves from some sketchy website for like 13 dollars or some shit once. Smoked it with a few friends and some other people. The only way it seemed to work was taking a huge ass rip from a bong. Trying to smoke the leaf through a pipe was just a bad idea. I remember being real skeptical thinking i was smoking maple leaves or something. But then i realized i couldnt move my arms and my shoulders were being pulled backwards through the chair. I had a feeling of being completely freaking drunk (i did have a few beers in me at the time). I'm talking waaaaasted though, everything was trailing and i felt the impulses from my brain were taking a good 15 seconds to reach the rest of my body. I guess i had what you would call a mellow salvia trip. I didn't see god or anything and i never left my body. I just had a really freaky feeling that gravity was pulling in the opposite direction and noises were extra loud and echo-y. It wasn't unpleasant, it was actually pretty damn nice. Someone else who tried it was apparently reenacting the trojan wars for a good 10 minutes. They completely lost all concept of reality for that time period.

So i would say it was worth the 13 bucks. I only ever did it that one time and took like 3 rips then gave out the rest of it to whoever wanted to take some home with them.

I'd like to try the extract sometime.

First dude pretty much hit it on the head. I felt a sense of layers coming over me, like being put on like a shirt. Also I felt like a small part of some inanimate object and like I would never be normal again. Did I mention I did a gravity bong hit of it? Bad idea. I'd done it multiple times but this was way worse. Not that fun, but my roommates got a kick out of it. Now ill only do it with people who have never done it before.

Salvia experiences can be dark, but I believe those experiences have their rightful place. Feelings of fear or negativity probably just stem from a temporary loss of self.

i think a lot of it is people have such high expectations of it and expect that the drug is going to control the trip. but if you look at how it was used by mexican shamans, it was meant to enhance meditation. i think a lot of the salvia trip depends on your current mental state and your environment. the problem with salvia is all the potheads out there thinking they can just crank a hit of salvia and then do something silly. thats when you come to with a broken window and a cut up hand. some of the stories on errorid about salvia trips are pretty damn frightening.

i dont consider myself a big druggie but ive done acid and shrooms and dmt a couple times. but i always felt i had control over myself while i was on that stuff. Well scratch that, dmt was a fucking intense trip and i have no idea what the hell i was doing but i did feel very euphoric and never felt afraid of what was going on. But with salvia i felt like i just lost all ability to control what was happening, probably because i wasnt as prepared as i should have been and wasnt in the right environment.

So i think it's both overrated and underrated. I've only ever done it once but i'm actually planning to give it another go within a few weeks here and make sure i set myself up to make it as pleasant as i can. I'll see what comes of it and be sure to post. But i definately think you cant fully judge this drug only trying it once.

i didn't have any issues at all with it. it just felt like the fabric of space and time stretched thin for a few minutes, but i didn't feel anything bad or crazy. i actually enjoyed it. most people are just stupid and do things they shouldn't be doing due to a lack of understanding of what they are putting into their body, and well, they are stupid and can't handle anything.

It definitely creates feelings of motion, and the illusion that gravity is shifting. I've had some pretty intense hallucinations from it, but nothing that really bothered me, yet anyways...
