I'm looking for musicians to fill the live line-up for my post-metal band with black metal influences, This White Mountain. Right now, I really need a guitarist for an upcoming show on April 26th at the Knights of Columbus in Somers, CT, and I need a guitarist and a bassist for a show at my high school's Battle of the Bands on May 1st. I had someone lined up for the first show, but I haven't heard from them in weeks. Post metal is the term used to describe post-rock influenced metal. DUH.

Ah, Kevin, Kevin, Kevin!! He's only 17 and he wants to start a "post" band. One must have pubes and been listening to metal pre-2000 to at least even consider putting the word "post" next to the word metal. You can't venture past (post) something if you were never there in the first place. Downloading Drudkh albums (assumingly, some of them can be hard to find sometimes) and listening Wolves In the Throne Room (not a band band but hipster-mentality) only makes me assume that this is guaranteed to get shat on here.
This deserves a united New England Scene "LOL"

I highly highly disagree with this. What you can create musically has nothing to do with your age. You're saying I can't make post-rock because I wasn't around in the 40's to see the rise of rock n roll? No thanks.
