Don't know how you'd classify it, but check out Scott Walker "The Drift".

And FYI you can probably find links to most of those at bloodistruth.blogspot.com

Great site, but I've been cheating on it with lucidmedia lately.

it's cool, I gotta wait to check it till I get home my work blocks myspace.

toggletoggle post by aril at Mar 30,2009 1:20pm
to me alcest's ep "le secret" is more shoegaze than the album. I still wouldn't classify it as that though.. but a decent listen nonetheless. the album falls apart after the first couple of songs IMO.

darkspace - i've mentioned them 10000 times before. they're space-based, borderline shoegaze, borderline ambient, borderline black metal. it's a very unique and awesome mixture of sound.

"The Drift" is fucking awesome. First time I heard it I was completely floored, it totally rips on his older stuff (I know it's completely different Walker, but damn, I love the darker Scott Walker).

And check out Bethany Curve's later stuff. Dark and spacey.
