NotCommon is finalizing a national distribution deal which will put the NC catalogue into the Benchmark catalogue via Lax Wax records.

Red Invasion has been signed to Pelado records, look for their debut full length sometime in the summer from Pelado. We are very happy for Red Invasion and hope everything works out for them.

Phantom Limb's full length will be tenatively available April 1st. 'Veins of Unholy Capacity' is 13 songs of melodic, brutal and catchy death metal.
Make sure to check out their CD release party with Bane of Existence, Raising Kubrick, and Teratism at the Middle East on Easter Sunday (April 11th). They may be doing a US tour this summer with Rudra (from India).

Conifer is currently in the process of recording songs for their full length CD. Maine's doom kings have taken new england by force with constant shows all over the area. Easily one of the favorite bands from fans and other bands alike. Check them out March 20th with Ravage, Phantom Limb, Ascendancy, Continued without a Finding and Abhorred at the Chopping Block. They will be touring the US this summer.

Disengaged, New England's most hated and mentally insane band, is currently working on new material and recording for Ravage VS. Disengaged, which will feature new songs from both bands, and both bands covering songs from each other. Put your pussy back in your pocket and read their new interview in Soundcheck magazine.

Raising Kubrick, NH's militant grind metal killing machine, is currently working on new material and recording for a summer time full length release. Check them out as part of the line up on the Sick as Sin fest, and also April 17th in Amhesrt, NH with Phantom Limb, 5 Minutes Hate and Ravage. Their self released demo cd is now available, and definately worth 2 bucks.

Kevorkian's Angels is currently finalizing some new songs before planning to hit the studio in the summer to record a new full length. The most eclectic band in New England fuses grind, thrash, surf, crust, punk, and metal to make themselves your favorite band. Check them out live at O'Briens Pub March 28th with a re-united Upside Down Cross. That will be the last Kevorkian's show until the summer time.

We have added more and more titles to our ever growing distro list, all titles will be on sale at the Sick as Sin fest. Bring your wallet.

Hey Joe, where you going with those hardcore pants on? j/k
Who will be on the North Shore vs. South Shore comp??

toggletoggle post by Josh_hates_you  at Mar 8,2004 12:59am
sounds like not common records is set to kick our asses with new metal this summer and then take over MTV in the fall with some punk metal boy band crossover action.

toggletoggle post by moran   at Mar 8,2004 4:34am
The boy band will include Phantos, Mark and Nick Kevorkian, The Rev, Beakey, and myself. We have a song in the works called "Rape Slut", its a ballad. Vote for it on TRL this August.

I am only in this for the money these days.
The north shore vs. the south shore compilation will feature such bands as Disengaged and more.

Hey Joe, you should sign some nu-metal bands. I hear that they're the new thing, setting new paradigms and shit.

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Mar 8,2004 12:55pm
I already signed this nu-metal band called Phantom Limb.

toggletoggle post by SmallBrownRatFuck   at Mar 8,2004 1:00pm
SWEET. I can start doing some clean vocals and write some pentatonic break downs for our current songs... maybe have Ryan make up some clean interludes at the beginning of the songs.

*shudder*

I may sign another band in the summer sometime, if I feel like it.

toggletoggle post by deathcow   at Mar 8,2004 1:14pm
Nu Metal pays the bills.
