Everyone is feeling the pressure these days as workers are loosing their life savings, the cost of food and energy is soaring, and the economy is in the toilet. However, there are few who feel the hard times so much as the families of our veterans, especially those families who have a loved one called up from reserve status to serve overseas. Reservists, and separated IRR veterans who often depend on their higher paying civilian jobs to feed and shelter their families can be especially hard hit, and expect to see their household incomes drastically slashed by a sudden deployment. Difficult choices such as choosing to buy food over seeking medical treatment can quickly become a reality to families caught up in a sudden military deployment.

To ease this burden on our local veterans and their families, Hold True Recordings is continuing to host benefit shows and awareness events throughout central Massachusetts over the holiday season. So far Hold True Recordings was able to collect enough food to keep Worcester's already stretched Operation: Military Kids Emergency Food Program stocked with non-perishable food for Thanksgiving, but will need a large outpouring of support to help keep the food program stocked for December. Hold True Recordings is hosting a large benefit show on Dec 11th at the historic Ralph's Chadwick Square Diner, in Worcester Ma. The show will feature some of the finest metal bands in the area, all in the comfortable and unique setting of Ralph's Diner. All people attending the event are encouraged to bring at least 1 can of nonperishable food for the Operation: Military Kids.

God Bless ya man...tell me where I can donate or mail food to. I'd be more than happy to help.

Great cause, great men and women. God Bless vets.

Awesome!! It's going to be a good time so def- try to come!! Deathamphetamine is probably one of the most under appreciated bands in the state. They are mindblowingly good!!
