I tried sushi once and nearly ralphed up the shit. Can anyone recommend any good sushi? I am willing to try it again. I think the shit I tried was just that, shit. What is a good spicy sushi? Thanks!

I've only had one kind of sushi that didn't make me hate life. It didn't have fish in it though. Can't remember what kind it was. I hate all othe sushi than this one mystery.

Now I'm not one to turn down leftover pad thai. Certainly not. But if you don't eat it while it's fresh off of whatever it is they cook it on then you lose a lot of the flavor. The juices settle and dissipate, and it's not the same experience.

Crab rangoon cold is a true leftover treat though.

Nope, the crab filling solidifies a little and it's got a much better consistency. Yum.

I am pleased with the flavor experience I had. It may be the fish sauce most Thai places use that dissipates, but I don't get it with fish sauce. I may be so bold to say this was better the 2nd time around.

I heart sushi. Raw is best. Although the fried crab is pretty good. Best raw sushi I've had is squid and eel. From haruki in providence. I've had some in NYC as well but that wasn't as good as haruki.

and any leftover asian food is good shit in my book. except raw sushi.

the only thing gross about left over pad thai is the sprouts if you try to reheat it.

SkinSandwich: there are tons of non-fish kinds and slightly fish kinds.
idaho maki: sweet potato fish wrapped in seaweed than rice with sweet sauce!
avacado maki, cucumber maki, etc... with wasabi+soy rules.

my first sushi experience was in 2000 or 2001 in LA with a bunch of asians. cost like $50+. now, $14 at the local place fills me pleasantly enough.

I do not believe I have had Bangna Garden...I am interested in partaking.

Spicy tuna maki is killah, its just raw tuna with spicy mayo. Sake in Portsmouth is the best around here. I get down with some weird tastes, uni (sea urchin), anything raw. I was at a place in VT and had sushi, got wasted and we asked for the food no white people would want. They brought us fermented soybeans and raw squid in a seaweed cone. Needless to say it was terrible.

THAI FOOD IS THE BEST.

Thai food is probably my 2nd favorite at the moment. Mexican is in 1st place right now, but goddamn there is some amazing Thai out there.
