This Amero stems from that crazy thing that stems from NAFTA. I forget the name of the document but it ensures that the North American Union is going to happen. The Amero will just be the new currency like the Euro in Europe.

I think anyone considering union with Mexico should VISIT MEXICO.

There are many great Mexicans, including in the USA -- but like all third world countries, Mexico is a bucket of fail with a few smart people strapped into the herd.

We should avoid that fate for ourselves.

My company's employees are about half American, half Mexican guys. I've been working with one of the Mexican guys lately and he's actually pretty scummy, tries to do stuff like hide jobs from the company, has a pretty strong hatred of black people, take more equipment (towels) in the morning than he should regardless of whether other people have enough, avoid doing more work than he has to (like if we get asked to do another job). Really, the vets of the company are all hard workers but I am skeptical on this guy.

Well -- look at what must be done to survive in Mexico, if you aren't the top 0.5% who have real money (and are generally criollos).

You live in a failing economy, an unstable country, etc. like a big high school where the average IQ is 94.

Think about what an IQ of 94 is like.

Then, you realize that no matter what you do, nothing will succeed, because there is zero infrastructure and most people are corrupt.

So you take it easy... now fast forward many generations.

Current Mexicans are entirely the Spaniards' fault. Although the Maya and Aztec empires were in decline, they were conquered by a few hundred Spaniards who united their slaves against them.

Their slaves weren't as smart as the Maya and Aztecs were.

Then the Spanish very carefully cultivated these as field hands, beating down the smarter/braver ones.

Now you have... a third world country where the few who do rise are usually torn down.

Unless we change our course -- and I am not talking AT ALL about race here, in this case it's irrelevant -- USA is heading down the same path.

Mexico has produced some amazing metal, like:
