Kind of sucks these shows are falling on the same night. Which one are you going to (if any) and why?
I'm going to see At the Gates. I've seen Clouds before and they're an up-and-comer so I'm sure I'll get the chance to see them again soon. Boris is kind of the same way even though they live a continent away. They're fucking huge now and don't seem to be going anywhere fast. Torche I could care less about. Another 4th generation cookie-cutter doom band.
At the Gates, on the other hand, hasn't come around here in forever as far as I know. Slaughter of the Soul is one of my favorite albums and it would killer to see some of those songs played live. Hopefully they'll be on their game.
hmm, I'm going to Gravewurm but I'd liked to have seen Boris at least once

Maybe I'm biased because I think Slaughter of the Soul has aged poorly and I'm cleaning my room/throwing together applications to Akuma no Uta and Smile, but I'd go see Boris.

At the Gates. I was torn when Wolves in the Throne Room was on the Boris show, so them dropping off made up my mind for me.
