are all of floyd's albums concept albums? if so there are a lot better than dark side. i dont understand why people get such a boner over that album, its good but their other albums are just as good.

well yeah this is our concwern dood, Waters with Floyd is the only way to go Darkside or the Wall or Animals.

they all have a common theme usually. Everything up to Dark Side,imo, weren't concept albums, but everything after that was.

animals is by far my favorite. meddle and atom heart mother (i think its called) have been in my rotation quite a bit lately. have any of you guys seen live in pompei? i was recommended by a kid on the b9 board actually, and its really really good.

David Gilmour's solos when performing "Echoes" at Pompeii were incredible.

Much better than the studio version heard on Meddle.

I can't remember a concept album I liked besides Prince Paul's "The Birth of a Prince," but I wrote a short story a few days ago that we think could make for some good lyrics, sick art work, and we'll still be able to attack all of our usual targets. (i.e. religion, politics, corruption, media, stupid supposed social norms, etc.).

i enjoy the one zao put out, but yeah... haha
