I just came into possession of a very long rack case. I'm talking l0o0o0ng. With the caps on each end it's about 27 inches long. With them off, it's about 22 inches. What am I to do with a 22 inch deep rack case? Is there any way to cut it down to size without being retarded about it? It's shock-mount if that makes any difference.

Ya, it's an ATA style. It's just a generic rack case. It's good quality, actually. There's wood casing on the inside of the foam as well. I just don't need a rack case this long.
Well I looked up rack cases of the sort and I found them to be 200 dollars. I NEED 200 dollars but I'm not a douchebag. I'd probably ask for anything from 50 - 150. Whatever ISN'T douchey. If you're interested (and I daresay you are), we can talk or some shiiiiiit.
between rent and working my shitty temp job and investing all my cash into my label I am going o have to see what I can do. I'll let you know later this week. Sounds like a great case for a qsc power amp!

Honestly, I'd be willing to trade it for a 3 or 4 unit rack case if you have any lying around.
