UNEARTH update from the band:
Tickets for the show this Sunday January 25th at The Downtown in
Farmingdale, NY are selling fast. Be sure to visit
http://www.thedowntown.com/ to assure yourself a ticket. Buying tickets
ahead of time will also save you $2 per person.

Again, the show will be a DVD shoot for our upcoming DVD, which will be
released late April from Metal Blade Records. Also shooting a DVD that
night
will be Every Time I Die and Anterabbae.

The shows will be Saturday Jan. 24 at the Empress Ballroom in Danbury,
CT
and Jan 25 at the Downtown in Farmingdale, NY. These will be our ONLY
two
shows of the entire winter. So be there, or, wait till spring!

AS I LAY DYING make MTV2's Headbangers Ball "Bang of the Week"!
The video for As I Lay Dying's 94 Hours is the new "Bang of the Week"
on the
Headbanger's Ball site, starting 1/23/04. The band will also get a
mention
on the show airing on 1/24/04 and a point to the HBB site on MTV2.com
to
view the video.

THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER update from the band:
We are extremely sorry for not being able to make it to the show in
Hebron
Ohio on January 17th. The weather wasn't too bad in Michigan, but a few
hours into the drive it got pretty intense and we made the collective
decision to not risk it. We like our van, our trailer, our equipment,
and
would rather have it safe than laying in a ditch on the side of the
freeway.
For those of you that can't understand this only happened because of
the
shitty weather, cry us a fucking river.

We're going to be on the road in the US again once we get back from
Japan in
late February. In March/April we'll be hitting the road with As I Lay
Dying,
Every Time I Die, and Scarlet. I posted some shows that are happening
very
soon. One of which is being at Idle Kids in Michigan, so we hope to see
all
of our friends!

THE HEAVILS studio update from Mossy:
The album sounds crazy! All the tracks are done and we just have vocals
to
do now. Devin and Shaun (worked on Fear Factory and Devil Driver) are
putting us through the ringer...Brian tracked for 19 hours straight one
night. SHAUN THINGVOLD IS A FUCKING COOL DUDE. It has been really
interesting learning from him and Devin. They have so much knowledge
between
them and the sounds they are getting are truly original. They sound
like no
one else out there. We are going to freak people out with this release!

"VARIOUS CRAP"- A RETROSPECTIVE OF DAVE BROCKIE'S WORK AT MF GALLERY
Dave Brockie, (A.K.A. "Oderus Urungus") has been working in both visual
and
performance art for over 25 years, and soiling himself for over 30. As
the
frontman and one of the original creators of the theatrical Heavy Metal
band, GWAR, he has splattered and entertained millions of fans around
the
world. Now, for the first time ever, MF Gallery in New York City will
be
holding a retrospective of his work; including both old and new pieces,
all-new performances and general insanity.



Dave Brockie describes the show in his own words:
"The show is called 'Various Crap' featuring Chippy and the
Iso-Chamber. It
will be a retrospective of one artist's work, (me!) from the earliest
scribblings to the latest disaster. In addition to showing paintings,
drawings and sculptures from the last 20 years; for the entire duration
of
the show, (March 6th through April 24th) I will be doing a performance
art/
endurance piece inside the dreaded the 'Iso-Chamber'. The night of the
opening, (Saturday, March 6th at 7PM) there will be a performance by
'Chippy', my latest discovery, a half-man, half-chipmunk, half-beaver
lounge
entertainer. At the end of the evening's festivities I shall climb into
the
"Iso-Chamber", where I shall remain for the duration of the show,
forced to
sustain myself on only what I can order over the telephone. On
Saturday,
April 24th at 7 PM, I shall hopefully re-emerge from the 'Iso-Chamber',
and
declare myself even cooler than David Blaine, another famous DB that
can
suck my balls."

"Various Crap" will be on view at MF Gallery at 157 Rivington St. NYC
(Between Clinton and Suffolk Sts.) from March 6th to April 24th. The
Opening
Party will be on Saturday March 6th at 7PM and the Closing Party will
be on

VOMITORY: new album update
Vomitory have done it again! Their 5th masterpiece Primal Massacre is
now
recorded and mixed.

It was recorded in studio Kuling with Henrik Larsson and mixed in Berno
Studio. The album includes 10 songs of brutal, non-compromising Death
Metal.
Juan Jose Castellano provided the artwork for the album and it's the
most
brutal artwork Vomitory used so far.

"It's a killer album! As always nothing for the weak hearted" says
guitar
player Ulf Dalegren.
