Back To School Jam was a lot of fun. I'm glad I got to see Panic's last show, Slapshot for the first time (although I was a bit disapointed) as well as Count Me Out and Blood For Blood. All the bands played well.
After the show we drove to Springfield, MA to catch the last three bands at the Halloween Massacre. Tear It Up, Out Cold and Last In Line all did really cool sets with tons of fake blood, Misfits covers and the like.
Great times. |

Agree on the Panic set. They were probably my favorite of the night.
Also, singing along with Blood for Blood was awesome.
I only saw one person being taken away with a broken face (with poor xjessx's shirt on her face).
That's two xSEx concerts in one week.. I might have to loose the metal and get an edge! Actually, I swear I saw Alex (xbreak it upx) sing the lyric about saving time to have a beer with a friend. But I'll assume he meant it as a metaphor. |

I was a bit disapointed too. When everyone talks about you so much, it's almost impossible to live up to the hype though. So many hadn't seen Slapshot before and were just watching. It's hard for the band to get into the show if the crowd isn't. The Hideway show would have been great. The hall sucked, the sound sucked. What can you do? |

holy fuck, how did I miss this one?! is panic still around? |
|
was that the last year of this festival? 2001 was pretty good, but much heavier on the punk |
|
this was 4 years ago, 2002 and was the last year of the fest.
Panic re-formed a year ago and played lido not too long ago. |
