The awesomeness of the "Hard Attack" (their big metal channel) seems to be patchy. Sometimes it will be a solid half hour of listenable music, other times it will be metalcore, followed by nu-metal, followed by metalcore -- which is obviously intolerable.

Usually when I'm driving, I'll leave the Sirius unit on while I listen to a disk, just in case something good comes on.

uhhh not really......I got a free xm for one year and I rarely listen to it......the punk channel is prob the best one.....the play some decent underground 80's punk and oi.....the metal channel is hit or miss......mostly miss. like andy, I leave it on to see when something good comes on.

I have some XM channels via Direct TV -- from what I heard it was pretty good.

my brother has one of them and the metal channels seem cool. i think stern is a toolbag so I wouldnt listen to him regardless.
