i can not describe how intense the soundtracks to these games are. but it is what you can expect from a game series that has characters named after famous metal bands (Slayer, Venom, Testament, chipp ZaNuff... think "Enuff Z'Nuff") and a couple other metal characters such as the Axl Rose tribute "Axl Low" and the rip roarin solo goddess I-no. there is even a character named after Frank Zappa. anyways... this superb fighting game has the most METAL soundtrack ever. mainly because it is metal. think 80's, think Yngwie, think FUCKING AWESOME. each composition has such awesome riffing and very memorable licks that will leave your player on repeat. my personal favorites are "No Mercy", "Bloodstained Lineage", "Justice's Theme", "Holy Orders", "Still in the Dark", and "Suck a Sage". but they are all pretty damned good. check this shit out or remain gay.
