Hey all,
We're that recently formed Epic/Black/Progressive/Thrash/Viking (there's no better way to put it) band with ex-Abaroth and ex-Hekseri/Ascendancy members.
We're currtenly looking for someone who is interested in playing Acoustic Guitar live with some synth here and there. Not much experience is required for the synth part. This is more of an acoustic guitar part.

It's a very important part to the live sound, as we have a lot of parts with acoustic guitar in the background. It's mainly an "atmospheric" part.

I normally would be wary about positions like this in a band, but trust me, it won't let you down.
We practice on Friday nights, once a week in Allston.
Let me know if anyone is interested.

PS: Even if you don't have an acoustic or synth, that's okay. We have you covered.

I have an acoustic and a synth (more like a keyboard midi-controller attached to my laptop, but I have softsynths loaded like Reason, Live, Logic)

do you want me to contact Seth?

I thought you guys had planned a more grind kinda thing?
no argument here, the epic/viking style is more in keeping with my taste/abilities.

be well,
larissa

I'd be willing. Sounds like fun. I'd probably use the synth you provide instead of my 88-key 50 pound synth...Not fun lugging around. I would most likely use a MIDI cable and link that synth to MainStage on my MacBook.

Grind thing? Nope.. not this project at least. It's definitely not grind.. the first song we have is roughly 20 minutes long..
I'll ask the band about you guys, hopefully this can work out.

Thanks for responding

Although a 20 minute grind song would be impressive...

Looks like I'll be bringing out the ol' block flute (that's a recorder to you Philistines) tonight for some acoustic parts. Should be interesting; I haven't played a woodwind in a band setting for probably 20 years, now.

TULL, MAN

I'll bring my Zither and Lute.
