Is this happening at the Webster Underground? The website states some lame bands for the main stage the same day. Also, any chance to get a discounted ticket?

the show is actually in the "underground" and not in the main "theater". RTTP favorite hed pe will be gracing the main stage that evening. which i guess is a good thing because a show that would have been half-empty in the main room will be pretty fuckin packed in the underground.

i'll give my man at the webster a call and see if it would be possible for you to set up shop in the hall/room to the side of the underground where i'm guessing bands will be setting up merch.

it would be super if you could come down and assist me in my pursuit of financial irresponsibility.

Well it's gonna be in the "underground" part,so it's fucken small. Get here early people! It would have been in the theater part but HeadPe and a few others are playing the same night. I remember seeing Belphegor/Unleashed here around the same time last year,they played the "big stage". I imagine they're are gonna be like "wtf"? this time around. The sounds better in the underground part most of the time. I think parking is like $5 still. A couple friends from Worcester are coming down for this(no one wants to go to Mark's anymore),so it should be a realy good turn out. I might just have to fight for a spot up front!

every time I've been there, they have the second stage running in the other room while the main stage is setting up for another band.

Should only be one stage for this show since HedPE is on the main stage.

yup - HedPE is playing the main room and the whole Rotting Christ show is in the Underground / small room. i can't imagine them being dicks about photo stuff, Quintessence. and i'd be VERY surprised if there was a "photo pit" or barricade of any kind - i've never seen such a thing in the Underground. Mr From The Grave could give any of you the dish on what shooting in the Underground is like. anyhow - should be pretty packed - which is cool because this show would have been half empty at best in the big room.

and Mr. Slav - I could have Al drop off three tickets this afternoon at Music Outlet for you... or I could meet you before the show. Our load in is at 5 and that's when they usually like to settle up tickets. Let me know whatever works for you, man. Thanks.

Fuck - I just wrote out a fucking novel and accidentally deleted it. I was told last night to assume the show IS still happening. Basically the venue is concerned with starting out nearly three grand in the hole with only 35 tickets pre-sold when they would need over four times that many just to break even. I told them I thought it would be a very well attended show and that I know of people coming from out of state. i was told that should the show be cancelled, I would be notified ASAP so I could put the word out. I HIGHLY DOUBT it will be cancelled the day-of but I would recommend people call the venue before heading over. I will post here IMMEDIATELY should I hear anything to the contrary. so sorry you made the trip down, Slav. i spoke to the manager of the Webster at 1 and was told it was still on, took a nap (Iommi takes naps, fuck you) and called the venue at 3 to get a definitive "what time do we go on?" and was then told that the show was cancelled. HUGE clusterfuck. thanks to everybody who helped put the word out to try and spare people a wasted trip. sincere apologies to anyone else who made the journey for naught.

what a bummer it was finding out the show was canceled. I drove all the way down from NH...It wasn't all bad though. Ended up staying at a friends house and drinking our sorrows away. Also I forgot my cellphone there.

I will be at the show tomarrow in Poughkeepsie. The only crappy thing is, I can't shoot that show cause The Chance wont even let you in without a photopass I dont think. Oh well more reason to get completely fucked up!
