But what is the best one? I'm not talking about Gracenotes or anything like that, but the sites that you can plug your own CD collection into and keeps it alphabetically organized. Anyone who's used one of these sites, let me know.

i think recordnerd would be the best bet, thanks lamp. i have a lot of "unmetal" stuff that would be sure to get me lynched on metal archives, hahaha. i kid, i kid...maybe.

lamp, do you ever have issues with pages not loading on recordnerd? the only pages i've been able to get to at all are the main page and the register page.

I wanted to make one for here so you could put in DVDs too. actually you would be able to catalog and search ANYTHING including mp3s and stuff. I was thinking of is so people could trade CDs n stuff

there are a few sites that are dedicated to making lists/catalogues of anything and everything. i need to hear from people that have actually used some of these sites though, because it would suck taking hours and hours typing out all the shit that i own, just for the site not to save it or something dumb like that.

I haven't checked mine lately because for a while the whole site wasn't working.
