ok so I'm talking a basic mixed drink...for example I had a cranberry vodka in Boston last night

and it was $9!

Someone bought me one and I had no idea..then I went to get one and $9 plus $1 tip...damnnnn

I had a rertardedly expensive margarita once at chili's i think, it was their top shelf one and was close to $10 i think

i've had glasses of wine that were close to that number as well.

i'd never spend more than $10 on a drink, however

fancy drinks and wine (depending on the type) I can understand but a basic mixed drink? wtf!

i paid like 6 dollars for water at ozzfest. that was pretty stupid.

At BB Kings in NYC it's like $9-$11 a drink

I paid $9.50 for a jack and coke @ the downtime in Manhattan, and went back for another one and a differant bar tender charged me $10.50. fucking scumbags!

I went to this strip club somewhere in northern mass when I was like 18. It was a 2 drink minimum, and I paid $5 plus tip for each of my Sprites.

Mixed drinks, I think the most I've paid si $16 for some stupid martini and some stupid bar here in nyc.

But, if we go into wine. I've been out with accounts for $200+ bottles, which comes out to over $50 a glass. CRAZY!

$10 + tip Coors lite at Score's in NYC that was the cheapest drink at the bar. Most expensive strip club I ever been to.

i don't think i've ever seen 30 racks... but i know up at smokin joes on the edge of new hampshire you could get a case of pabst bottles for 11 bucks, but the dumb ass 17 year old cashiers would ring them up as a case of tall boys... which means that you got 24 bottles for 9.99. and no bottle deposit. live free or die my friends. live free or die.

generally at bars i only drink the cheapest beer they have. this often turns out to be pabst, which for casual drinking, is my personal beer of choice. the most i've payed for beer is about 5.50 for a pint of sam smith oatmeal stout at AS220. 14 bucks for 2 shots of makers mark at some dive bar in brooklyn.
