i rarely see over .3 unless its a big thread

you really can't compare them because the old server was running off the new server's MySQL server (and had been for a few days). The new server is handling all the metalfest traffic right now and not coughing at all. Load times will probably be the same or a little fast, but as the load on the server increases, there will be no increase in time up to some point.

Right now, the site would have puked a few times and I see no lag at all.

ha! I just found out how I'm connecting to the mysql server... oopies. I'll fix that later tonight. I've been fixing bugs all day long on the site...
alllllll day long and I'm still getting hundreds of backdoor errors per second.
