I've never heard this band but someone stuck a Facial Defecation sticker on one of the signs on my street and it's been there as long as I can remember.
Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the band itself looking at that funeral info, I live right in North Kingstown. |

I knew a couple of guys from F.D. (Budda and Pete) but not real well. |

Dave was an awesome guy. Always very friendly and just great company. Not really sure how to react to this. I've known him for years.
I remember playing several shows with Facial. One in particular at the Met, we shared equipment. I used his head and he used my cab. But, on his head he didn't use the clean channel so he didn't have a distortion pedal or anything. My band used clean in a few songs and I had to keep running over and push the button. I told him every time I have to push the button from distortion to clean and back he owed me a drink. I got quite a few that night. THe next time we played together he sat on the stage and pushed it himself so I in turn owed him that many drinks.

I remember - a long time ago - he got tired of people taking his beer at parties. So he devolped an appreciation for warm Stroh's beer. After that, no one would take any.... ha ha ha

Did anyone ever go to Pete's keg parties in NK. Those were always a good time. |
