I downloaded some music videos into iTunes and I need help figuring out how to convert the video files so they will sync to the iPod Video.

Thanks.

Just download Rockbox for your iPod and then you don't have to convert anything.

get the newest itunes it does it for you
just put the video file in your itunes library, right click on it and scroll to "make video compatible for ipod"

The new itunes converts videos for you, but videos take FOREVER ro convert to .mov files.

get in the habbit of just downloading .mov files. a ten minute video file will take like a friggin hour.

There are countless programs available for free download at download.com if you search for mov converter

I use PQ DVD to IPOD converter: http://rn.pqdvd.com/dvd-to-ipod-video-converter.html

Rips DVDs and converts them to IPOD video format, or converts most types of video files. Takes much less time than ITunes (only about as long as the movie itself).

I need to make my tivo record the daily show and the colbert report, convert them to about 80mb and then load them on to my iPod every night.
that would rule.

I'm not talking about movies, just music videos. I got them from someone on Soulseek and I actually have no idea what kind of file they are. Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Ok, well, I did the whole right-click "Convert selection to iPod" deal and it did that. But when I played it on the iPod itself, nothing comes up on the screen and there's no sound. It says it's playing but there's nothing.

Blah blah blah, did I mention that Rockbox allows you to emulate Game Boy games on it and runs Doom?

Come on people, or are you content with faggot Breakout?
