try a temp agency.. shitty jobs usually but.. sometimes you get lucky.. better than sitting on your ass all day

That's how I got my job, I work as a temp but I have a long-term position so I'll be there for a while. Sucks for insurance, though, and if the company they assign you to wants to hire you for another position.

well you can request a place that is " temp-hire "... so that hopefully if you dont fuck up.. you get hired permanent after 90 days.. that's how i got my job... it totally fucking blows... but it's a paycheck none the less..

Thats the situation I'm in but I've been here for 4 months and they told me today that they arent sure if they want to make this a permanent position...meaning I could be a temp forever and not get a benefits. This is despite the fact that my temp company assured me this was "Temp to Hire" and they would hire me with-in 90 days. Fucking gay.
