CEPHALIC CARNAGE have entered the studio to record their as-yet-untitled new full-length album.
CEPHALIC CARNAGE (Lenzig Leal: Vocals, Zac Joe: Guitar, John Merryman: Drums, Steve Goldberg: Guitar, Nick Schendzielos: Bass) are recording this follow-up to 2005’s stellar Anomalies in the band’s own studio with long time producer/engineer Dave Otero.
CEPHALIC’s Zac Joe recently gave this update: “We've started work on our 5th studio album and even though Colorado was hit with three of the worst blizzards in its history, which brought everything to a stand still, John has completed the drum tracks and we are neck deep into the guitars. I can say without a doubt say that John has pushed himself harder and out-performed anything I've ever heard from him, and that’s saying a lot. As for the rest of the music, it gives me that excited naughty little feeling in the pit of my stomach that can only be compared to the first time you make out with your best friends girl.” The band will have the recording wrapped up by early Spring for a May 2007 release.
Additionally, CEPHALIC CARNAGE has been picked to support SLAYER and UNEARTH at the tour’s Denver stop on January 31. A listing of CEPHALIC CARNAGE tour dates can be found in the tour section with more to be announced soon. |

i hope this new one is more enjoyable than anomalies. |
|
and that's coming from someone who was in a girly metalcore band and moved on to a slammy football goove band! |
|
It would be nice if they put out another installment in the halls of amenti trilogy deal.
Also, why do so many people dislike anomalies? |
